Responsibilities

- Support the Sales team in helping customers understand what they can achieve with the Exostar Platform and our associated Solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and communicate the business value of solving technology problems using a SaaS solution.
- Deliver use case-driven demonstrations across Exostars product portfolio clearly articulating the key business value and impact of each solution for prospective and existing customers.
- Execute the delivery of POCs for customers collaborating with Services Operations Engineering and the Product Team as necessary and ensure success across defined criteria.
- Craft Solutions document to show prospects and customers how to implement specific use cases across the Exostar Platform.
- Respond to RFI/RFPs as well as security questionnaires as necessary as part of the overall sales cycle.
- Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management Engineering Marketing and Sales.
- Provide customer/prospect feedback on solutions to the product team and work with them to fine tune features necessary for the roadmap across Exostar Product portfolio.
Basic Qualifications:
You meet our must haves for this role if:
- 5 years of pre-sales engineering solutions engineering or related experience.
- Experience in other customer-facing roles such as Services Support or Customer Success.
- Ability to whiteboard solutions quickly and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leverage your expertise in authentication protocols such as SAML WS-Federation and OIDC to design and implement tailored solutions for customers and prospects.
- Navigate and apply government and industry compliance standards including ITAR NIST 800-171 and CMMC to ensure secure and compliant collaboration with vendors and external service providers.
- An understanding of core security concerns within a typical application and in SAAS applications and their hosting (password hashing SSL/TLS encryption at rest XSS XSRF).
- Writing sample and demonstration examples will be required.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field or 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Proven team player with a strong commitment to customer success.
- Highly detail-oriented adaptable and deadline-driven.
- Skilled in creating technical documentation and conducting in-depth analysis.
- Experienced in developing product demonstrations and leading Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives.
- Familiar with SaaS and Cloud-based services.
