Job Description

Job Title:Honors Program Graduate AssistantDepartment:Honors ProgramStudent Employment Type:Graduate AssistantResponsibilities:
  • Facilitate two to three Honors Signature Experience courses per semester
  • Hold meetings take attendance communicate with students over email and lead discussions throughout the semester (usually scheduled on either Wednesday or Thursday evenings)
  • Attend on-campus or virtual events (occasionally scheduled on the weekends)
  • Help organize other UHP events throughout the year as needed including the senior capstone conference.
Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Outlook
  • Feel comfortable facilitating and initiating discussions with groups of 20 undergraduate students
  • Problem-solve should technical or scheduling conflicts arise
