Job Description

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 4-year college degree preferred.

What will I be doing

As a Sales & Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the directors and managers of sales and marketing including word processing data entry filing correspondence answering telephones and managing mail.

  • Perform general office duties such as faxing copying note-taking making travel arrangements and assisting on special projects as needed

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support sales activities.

  • Coordinate site inspections including research on customers preparing alert forms and ensuring meeting spaces and VIP rooms meet expectations.

  • Assist with hotel marketing efforts including creating campaigns social media content creation and digital media.

  • Initiating and distributing of internal/external letters forms bookings contracts resumes reports room lists schedules key packets and mail as needed.

  • Answer telephone and assist internal and external guests with requests.

  • In addition to performance of the essential functions this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Attends departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations such as group pick up meeting weekly operations meeting stand up meetings and sales meetings.

  • Keep work area clean and organized.

  • Assist with special projects assigned by management.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with other departments employees and guests.

Hourly Rate Range: The hourly rate range for this role is $23.00-$25.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
