We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor in our BHAS Department

SPINs Clinical Supervisor is an integral part of the Behavioral Health and Autism Services management team. The Clinical Supervisor demonstrates high levels of clinical competence in his/her respective discipline and ensures that high quality person first supports are being delivered within programs while assuring productivity targets are achieved. The Clinical Supervisor monitors and approves data driven changes both clinically and administratively. The Clinical Supervisor demonstrates professionalism by example through teaming facilitating training fostering staff growth and encouraging a high-performance work environment. The Clinical Supervisor mentors staff within the program and encourages personal and professional development. Clinical Supervisors demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills. They function as the departmental liaison between families and other team members.

Accountabilities of a Clinical Supervisor:

  1. Ensures that all individuals are provided with person-first supports assuring that health and safety procedures and all regulations are being followed.
  2. Ensures proper implementation and monitoring of each persons individualized treatment plan and progress monitoring to achieve specific outcomes derived from individuals preferences needs and interests.
  3. Trains and supports staff members to teach individuals life skills skill acquisition programming and decrease challenging behaviors in order to increase their independence and community participation. The Clinical Supervisor will document these trainings and outcomes.
  4. Demonstrates knowledge of the most recent research and findings in the fields of Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Social Work and Therapeutic Interventions as well as other relevant fields of study as applies to their team assignment.
  5. Clinical Supervisors will be accountable for ensuring documentation meets regulatory standards and will review clinical and billing documentation as needed
  6. Clinical Supervisors will be responsible for overseeing staff and client schedules in programs where this is necessary. He or she will also be responsible for managing case authorizations and monitoring productivity for all of their supervisees to achieve departmental outcomes.
  7. Clinical Supervisors will be responsible for conducting and documenting the supervision of supervisees. The Clinical Supervisor will also actively participate in his or her own supervision as required.
  8. Communicates positively and effectively with all internal and external stakeholders on issues problems successes of each individual to support achievement of outcomes and assure quality service. Clinical Supervisors will have regular documented contact with families external stakeholders and service providers in addition to maintaining internal communication within the department and across the organization as necessary to achieve outcomes.

Tools you need:

  1. Masters degree in education Psychology or a related field
  2. Licensed Behavioral Specialist in PA and BCBA Certification required
  3. Experience supervising others and delivering feedback is preferred
  4. Proficient in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Valid drivers license personal vehicle and insurance

Expectations:

  1. Excellent organizational and time management skills
  2. Ability to analyze data and make data-based decisions
  3. High-level communication skills are a must.
  4. Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural religious racial disability and gender issues through daily practices interactions and encouraging personal choice.
