Job Description
Zappos is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Site Merchandising Operations Specialist to drive our digital merchandising strategy through data-driven insights and technical expertise. This role combines technical skills with merchandising acumen to optimize the customer shopping experience and product presentation.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze site performance metrics and customer behavior data to inform merchandising decisions and improve user experience
Manage product review ensuring accurate and timely product launches
Develop and maintain product attribution standards and taxonomy
Optimize site navigation filters and search functionality
Generate weekly performance analytics reports
Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs and surface actionable insights
Collaborate within Marketing and technical teams to execute Site Merchandising strategy
Bachelors degree in Business Retail or related field
3 years experience in site merchandising or digital product management
Experience with product information management systems
Strong proficiency in SQL or similar query languages
Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard creation
Demonstrated expertise in reporting and analytics
Strong understanding of digital commerce metrics and KPIs
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
