Days Full-time
Remote - with some travel to support Cedar Rapids and Waterloo IA area
Were seeking a Recruiter to join our Talent Aquisition team! In this role youll be responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process; this entails sourcing and screening candidates managing open positions assisting hiring leaders through the interview process facilitating offers and employment negotiations all while ensuring candidates have a best in class experience.

Responsibilities
- Establishes recruiting strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates for assigned positions.
- Leverages varied recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Indeed Social Media) and strategies (creative marketing diversity outlets recruiting events) to develop candidate pipeline and market UPH opportunities.
- Facilitates position intake meetings with hiring leaders to confirm/calibrate position requirements and develop recruiting strategy.
- Responsible for on-going process improvements in recruitment onboarding employment and diversity.
- Participates in community outreach as a representative of UnityPoint Health in the way of mock interviewing resumes writing seminars junior and high school presentations
- Builds relationships and partnerships with talent acquisition team members system-wide to share in strategy and best practices.
- Develops participates and drives projects and initiatives both within region and across the system to provide exposure career growth visibility and opportunities to team members.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration Management or related field or equivalent experience.
- Equivalent of Associates Degree with 3 years of talent acquisition/recruiter experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience.
- 1 year of experience conducting sourcing or passive candidate recruitment activities.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Writes reads comprehends and speaks fluent English.
- Basic computer knowledge using word processing spreadsheet email and web browser.
- Multicultural sensitivity.
- Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
- Advanced reading writing and oral skills.
- Ability to utilize PC including basic elements of Windows environment keyboarding work with mouse and perform basic computer tasks with instruction.
- Preferred:
- Proficient in Lawson HRIS Systems.
- Proficient in ICIMS Recruitment Software.
