Overview
Painter
UnityPoint Health - Allen
Shift: PRN As Needed
The Painter position will have the ability to prepare surfaces select and apply proper coatings to various materials mix paints and select colors. This position will have a basic knowledge of wall covering- paper vinyl wall prepetition and application methods. This position will also be able to perform general maintenance functions to support the Plant Operations department.

Responsibilities
- General painting work
- Ability to perform general maintenance functions to support the building.
- Respond to assigned codes.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Painting skills and general maintenance skills.
- 5 years experience in a related field
- Valid Iowa drivers license for at least three years with an acceptable or clear rating according to the Motor Vehicle Record chart. (see below).
- Must have a minimum of two years driving experience with no record of DUI DWI or similar alcohol or drug related offenses over the past five years.
- No record of reckless driving careless driving speeding over 15 miles above the speed limit fleeing or eluding a police officer chemical test refusal leaving the scene of an accident driving after revocation or suspension or passing a stopped school bus in the last five years.
