Asa Senior Program Manager Commercial Excellence you will play a pivotal role in executing major projects supporting the remote saleschannel innovation and small accounts team. Your day will involve:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Align project plans with the strategic priorities of remote sales and channel innovation initiatives. Collaborate closely with the Director of Remote Sales to ensure alignment with both customer and internal objectives.
  • Cross-functional Team Leadership: Lead teams across Cardiovascular Neuroscience and Surgical business groups to implement strategies that enhance Medtronics market position.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior leaders including the VP of Remote Sales and regional leadership to ensure projects support broader business goals.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Support the Director of Remote Sales in building strategic relationships with administrative and C-Suite leaders shifting focus from product sales to long-term strategic alignment.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress manage timelines and budgets and deliver updates to senior leadership.
  • Innovation and Growth Initiatives: Identify and drive opportunities for innovation in remote sales and channel programs supporting revenue and market share growth.
  • Continuous Improvement: Reflect on outcomes implement best practices and enhance operational efficiency to maintain Medtronics leadership in digital and remote sales solutions.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to evaluate develop and manage projects for key business processes.
  • Establishing program objectives timelines milestones and budgets.
  • Managing operational aspects of ongoing projects and acting as liaison across teams.
  • Monitoring project status resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinating resources across business units to ensure project success.
  • Identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Establishing and tracking performance metrics.
  • Driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders including executive briefings.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have: (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects involving multiple business units and stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various audiences.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program or project management preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Project JIRA).
  • Experience in customer-facing roles with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience working in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software solutions and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience managing projects across different geographical regions and cultures.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and frameworks.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$143200.00 - $214800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
