Job Description
Grinder 3rd Shift
Location: North Las Vegas NV
Shift: 3rd Shift 9:00 PM 5:30 AM
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Grinder / Metal Finisher to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and finishing metal components ensuring high-quality cosmetic standards and readiness for secondary operations such as powder coating.
Key Responsibilities
Operate hand-held grinders to finish sheet metal components to specification.
Deburr buff and polish surfaces to meet Class B or C cosmetic standards.
Inspect and correct defects including scratches weld excess burrs or surface irregularities.
Ensure all work is completed safely with appropriate machine guarding and PPE.
Maintain equipment and perform general upkeep as needed.
Support additional production or finishing tasks as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in metal grinding finishing or similar trade.
Familiarity with sheet metal weld finishing and industrial tools.
Physical & Work Environment Demands
Ability to stand walk bend kneel or crouch for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Must be able to regularly lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.
Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity including depth perception and color vision.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-noise manufacturing environment.
