ABOUT WILLIAMS LAKE FIRST NATION (WLFN)
The Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) or the Texelcemc (people of WLFN) have belonged to the Secwepemc (or Shuswap) Nation for over 6500 years. Today the WLFN community includes a growing population of over 800 registered members who live on reserve in Sugar Cane in nearby Williams Lake BC and across the globe.

POSITION
Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor the Youth Worker Mentee will be responsible for assisting the recreation department in assisting organizing and delivering a variety of recreational programs and activities for children youth and adults in the community of Williams Lake First Nation. The job will require you to ensure all aspects of the recreational program run smoothly and effectively. Youth Worker Mentee will be reporting to Recreation Supervisor.
Employment Type
Temporary Full-Time (35 hours per week) from July 14 2025 to February 18 2026.
Probation Period
3 months from the date of hire.
