Description

Emersons DeltaV SaaS SCADA Account Manager is responsible for working directly with clients to cultivate long-term relationships ensure technology satisfaction secure software renewals and drive subscription growth. Reporting to the Manager Business Development the ideal candidate for this role is focused on being the link between Emersons DeltaV SaaS SCADA and our clients/partners ensuring needs are met and the relationship is growing.

IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Renewal and growth target carrying for DeltaV SaaS SCADA products and services with assigned accounts.
  • Fostering a strong believing relationship with clients through a deep understanding of their business operations challenges and needs.
  • Identifying and leading opportunities for upselling cross-selling and new business development within assigned accounts.
  • Acting as the first point of contact addressing questions concerns and issues.
  • Tracking account performance identifying areas for improvement and working closely with marketing technical sales and other departments to meet client needs and achieve goals.
  • Leading software subscription renewals through active negotiation and support from internal Emerson collaborators.
  • Forecast and track account metrics such as funnels key performance indicators and account planning/management in a Salesforce CRM environment.
  • Demonstrate superior communication and presentation skills to engage enterprise clients in regularly scheduled Technology and Account reviews.
  • Exercise diplomacy and grace assertively handle multiple internal collaborators who contribute to the success of the sales process. Including but not limited to: Inside Sales
  • Solutions Engineering Product Management Marketing Operations and Technical Development.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of DeltaV SaaS SCADA technology products and services system architecture development tools and common industrial operating environments.

You serve as a strategic ally to establish expand and sustain profitable and lasting relationships with designated key accounts.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • 2 years of software account management sales or support experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRM) - Salesforce
  • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now and in the future

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Emerson DeltaV SaaS SCADA (Zedi)
  • Industry knowledge of the Energy Utilities and Manufacturing(OEM) markets
  • Extensive understanding of various business operations like sales and marketing approaches
  • Formal Sales training
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills including conflict resolution
  • Strong ability to influence and deal effectively with people at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
