About us
Placemaking NSW is responsible for managing and caring for some of Sydneys most iconic harbourside venues and locations including The Rocks Barangaroo Darling Harbour and White Bay Power Station. We also lead the planning and delivery of the Bays West Urban Renewal Precinct a state significant project that will bring new homes jobs and public spaces to 77 hectares of government-owned land just 2 kilometres from Sydneys CBD.
The role
This role is about helping deliver meaningful Aboriginal education experiences every day. Youll lead and support a team of Education Guides oversee day-to-day program operations and make sure everythingfrom storytelling to school visitsmeets high standards and reflects cultural integrity. Its a hands-on role that blends rostering mentoring content quality and program evaluation.
Youll also collaborate with museum and cultural teams to ensure programs stay relevant and aligned with the Australian Curriculum while managing stakeholder expectations and supporting bookings and exhibitions as needed. Your leadership will be key to ensuring both staff and visitors have an enriching respectful experience grounded in culture and connection.
