Senior Financial AnalystJob Description Summary
Leads the organizations accounting activities including financial record keeping and records of organizations financial activity in accordance with GAAP organizational standards and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley reports on financial performance for internal and external month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange cash management and tax including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such and assisting junior accounting staff in the development of their professional skills.Job Description
- General day to day reporting and accounting responsibilities for Three Rivers Plant
- Generate and assure accuracy of month end close data including complete financial statement report including preparation of journal entries account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support development of financial reporting requirements including use of Corporate system to acquire and analyze transactional data and trends
- Assist in the development of the monthly forecast annual budget and semi-annual Five Year Strategic Plan
- Assist operating departments in the analysis communication and interpretation of operating and financial data
- Frequent contact with others outside the work group
Required Skills and Education
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelors degree
3-5 years previous analyst experience
