Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with visitors from various backgrounds to ensure a positive high level of customer service throughout their visit.
- Address complaints and provide prompt service recovery in a calm and professional manner.
- Regularly rotate between each designated post throughout the River Journey and Ocean Journey buildings; maintain a working knowledge of each area to adequately assist and educate visitors and ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure the smooth flow of visitors throughout the Aquarium buildings by directing visitors alleviating crowds monitoring elevators and escalators etc.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of our animals and visitors at each touch tank by squeegeeing clearly communicating the rules and quickly responding to incidents
- Communicate professionally via a two-way radio.
- Address large groups of visitors of varying ages and backgrounds with confidence and professionalism while using a microphone.
- Uphold all safety protocols in a professional manner; provide assistance during emergency situations monitor both buildings and the plaza area and report any safety concerns to the appropriate individual(s) in a timely manner.

- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time; frequent moving between and within the buildings and transporting various objects
- Ability to alternate between cold hot and/or wet conditions
- Ability to perform frequent and/or repetitive physical activities
Part-time hourly ($15/hour)
