Detailed Description:
This recruitment is open to current University of San Diego tenured faculty only.
The Provosts Faculty Fellow in Research Development will work closely with the Provosts team focusing on designing strategies and implementing initiatives to support and advance the universitys research mission. This position will play an important role in strengthening USDs research culture increasing faculty and student research productivity at both graduate and undergraduate levels enhancing research infrastructure funding resources and institutional visibility. Key responsibilities include:
The Provosts Faculty Fellow reports directly to and works under the general supervision of the Vice Provost for Research and Administration.
The appointment will start on September 1 2025. This position is renewable on an annual basis for up to three years. The Faculty Fellow will serve an estimated one month in the summer with a teaching load of one 3-unit course within their respective discipline per Fall and Spring semester. The Faculty Fellow is expected to remain active in their ongoing faculty research and scholarship agenda.
