Job Description

A well-established law firm in Woodland Hills is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Legal Secretary to join their team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $25$35 per hour depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proofread and file legal documents related to workers compensation cases
  • Organize and maintain case files correspondence and medical records
  • Schedule depositions hearings and client appointments
  • Communicate with clients courts and medical providers regarding case status and documentation
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation discovery and case management
  • Ensure all deadlines are tracked and met

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of legal secretary experience preferably in workers compensation or personal injury law
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • High school diploma required; additional legal training or certification preferred

Compensation:

  • $25$35 per hour commensurate with experience.
