CDL Road Test Driver Responsibilities
- Must be able to perform pre and post trip inspections
- Be sure you understand specifically the work that was performed on each repair order and complete the road test and inspection in accordance with the write-up stated on the repair order.
- Always check for additional repairs that should be performed while the truck is in the shop and advise your supervisor if you find anything additional
- Make sure that we are leaving the customers vehicle clean
- Use of proper safety procedures and devices is necessary
CDL Road Test Requirements
- Good drivingrecord.
- Class A requiresCDL
- Must be able to use a computer or tablet to write notes and follow written instructions
- Mechanical background preferred
- Good understanding of the operation of the vehicles we are road testing.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Good overall physical condition.
- Good reading and writing skills. Basic math skills. (High school graduate or GED equivalent)
- Valid drivers license.
- Dependable honest and trustworthy.
- Must be a team player and exhibit good positive attitude
