Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5 EST core business hours.

Virtual:This role enables associates to work virtually full-time with the exception of required in-person training sessions providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity supports work-life integration and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

The Manager III Financial Operations is responsible for coordinating directing and managing several units of varying complexity that has multi-state or multi-functional impact within Finance.

How you will make an impact:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of vision strategies and tactics to maximize the departments effectiveness while minimizing costs.
  • Reviews statistical data of various systems in order to verify accuracy and timely processing.
  • Ensures internal controls are appropriate and develops policies and procedures and ensures compliance with government regulations.
  • Provides counsel to senior management.
  • Works with other areas for solutions to complex problems and participates in critical interactions with both internal and external customers.
  • Hires trains coaches counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports..

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires minimum of 7 years experience with operations financial reporting and analysis audit guidelines budgeting and multi-state operations and processes and minimum of 5 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experience:

  • Experience in law enforcement preferred.
  • Experience with complex business environments including multiple entity and highly automated situations preferred.
  • Leadership Experience:Years of experience managing direct reports and overseeing multiple work pillars with demonstrated success.
  • Expertise in Payment Integrity:Extensive experience and subject matter expertise in post-pay review validation and recovery processes within the healthcare or health insurance industry.
  • Medical Coding Systems Knowledge:In-depth understanding of internationally recognized medical coding systems such as ICD CPT and HCPCS.
  • Billing and Regulation Understanding:Thorough comprehension of medical billing guidelines and healthcare regulations.
  • Operational Insight into Payer Systems:Strong operational knowledge regarding healthcare payer systems the lifecycle of a claim and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Advanced Problem-Solving Skills:Proficient in troubleshooting hypothesizing and testing solutions for various problems.
  • Effective Communication:Excellent communication skills necessary for clear and effective dialogue with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Process Improvement Experience:Significant background in process improvement focusing on enhancing current procedures for improved outcomes.
  • Adaptability and Change Management:Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments demonstrating openness to organizational changes and new priorities.
  • Multitasking Ability:Competence in managing multiple responsibilities concurrently without compromising quality.
  • Presentation and Facilitation Skills:Skilled in preparing and delivering presentations capable of facilitating meetings and engaging effectively with executives and various stakeholders.
  • Core Team Values:Commitment to open communication adaptability and transparency understanding the importance of feedback and updates in a dynamic deadline-driven work environment.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s) the salary* range for this specific position is $120120 to $180180.

Locations: Maryland
