Key Responsibilities:
Safety:Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
Quality:Maintain high-quality standards by implementing and monitoring quality control processes.
Delivery:Optimize production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
Cost:Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety.
Develop lead and mentor a team of supervisors and employees fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering supply chain and sales to achieve organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing plant operations.
Minimum 1 year of experience in transitioning manufacturing sites from low-rate to high-rate production preferably in aerospace or other high-precision industries.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze data develop actionable insights and drive results.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
Commitment to safety quality and operational excellence.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Involvement and expertise in standing up new manufacturing site
Experience building an organization with multiple cross functions such as operations sourcing safety manufacturing to support aerospace production.
