This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.
Role overview:
Have a keen interest in the digital world and content platforms Are you an experienced product manager recognized for your ability to lead transformative projects If so this opportunity with Digital Media is for you.
Reporting to the Director Digital Media Products youll join a team engaged in the major initiative currently underway to modernize Radio-Canadas digital ecosystem and make it more resilient in an evolving media environment. This ambitious project is carried out in close co-operation with various departments to help build the public broadcasters future.
You will play a key role in defining strategically aligning and delivering this transformative initiative with a particular focus on developing the games offering.
In this capacity you will work closely with the team responsible for orchestrating the initiative whose combined range of expertise includes a business analyst project manager design lead and technical lead. You will also work with the various Digital Media teams (AI business intelligence etc.) and our many partners (editorial marketing revenue etc.).
Additionally you will collaborate and align on an ongoing basis with the Product Owners impacted by this project whether by supporting prioritization aligning with our partners or simply reiterating the initiatives strategic objectives. UX research and data insights are essential tools in your decision-making process to develop a product that delivers a seamless user experience while meeting the organizations business objectives.
As a leader you can inspire people and encourage collaboration with partners and your peers. Youre at ease in a complex environment and have an astute grasp of politics. Youll actively participate in our internal Product Management community of practice. Finally youll be an ambassador sharing best practices both from within the organization and from the market.
