What youll be doing

• Providing day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for hardware software and network issues

• Managing onboarding/offboarding processes: provisioning laptops setting up accounts and ensuring secure offboarding

• Administering tools like Google Workspace Slack Jira & Notion with role-based permissions

• Managing inventory of laptops peripherals and other company devices including planning equipment refresh cycles

• Keeping systems secure through malware protection VPN configuration phishing simulations and more

• Coordinating local office technology setups (AV network shared devices) in Grand Rapids and Holland

• Building internal automations Slackbots and documentation to make IT tasks faster and more efficient

Traits were looking for

(In no certain order)

• 2 years of proven experience in IT support systems administration or similar technical role

• Strong technical skills with macOS environments (and general familiarity with Linux/Windows)

• Experience managing tools like Google Workspace Slack etc

• Knowledge of IT security practices (malware protection 2FA SSO data protection)

• Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g. TeamViewer Chrome Remote Desktop)

• Comfortable working across both hardware (devices AV network) and software systems

• Organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation habits

BONUS Qualifications:

• Experience with JAMF Kandji or other Mac MDM tools

• Familiarity with IT needs for events or educational environments (e.g. badge printers WiFi management)

• Light scripting experience (e.g. shell scripts Slackbots Zapier automation)
