Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant Hounslow September 2025 Start
Location: Hounslow West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

An inclusive primary school in Hounslow is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant. This Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone considering a future in teaching or child psychology.
As a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant you will support pupils across EYFS and Key Stage 1 working with children who need extra help with phonics reading and learning routines. You will work with experienced teachers who will support your development.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in Early Years and Key Stage 1
- Leading phonics and early reading sessions
- Offering 1:1 and small group support
- Assisting with classroom routines and preparation
- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
Were looking for:
- A 2:1 or above in any degree subject
- A genuine passion for education and child development
- Previous experience with children (paid or voluntary)
- Commitment to the full academic year
Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees even with a UK Masters. Sponsorship is not available so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
