Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform patient assessments and prioritize care needs
- Develop and update individualized care plans
- Participate in quality improvement and research-based practice changes
- Track and monitor nursing practice indicators to ensure quality
- Provide patient and staff education integrated throughout care delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to problem-solve and enhance care
- Maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive respectful work environment
- Support shared decision-making and recognize team contributions
- Strong understanding of nursing standards and patient care procedures
- Knowledge of applicable legal regulatory and professional requirements
- Familiarity with departmental policies and compliance expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (required)
- Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience (required)
- Dialysis experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
