is searching for an international Food Ingredients Company with a global Network of Plants Sales offices R&D Centres the

Regional Sales Manager Southern Cone Food Ingredients and Food Colours

to cover the Southern Cone Argentina Chile Uruguay Paraguay and Bolivia

  • The person should have experience managing business in all the above countries.
  • Mostly business is done through distributors. Key accounts are managed directly.

Location: Buenos Aires.

General Summary

  • Responsible for planning and execution of national business development strategies for existing and potential clients.
  • Follows all operating procedures safety regulations and policies and procedures set forth by the company in addition to all local provincial and federal employment laws.

Tasks

  • Growing sales and profitability of by prioritizing and capturing significant new customers and growing revenues with existing customers.
  • Developing and articulating a sales and marketing vision and rallying the sales force behind that vision.
  • Together with the sales and project management team representing the Company with clients; acting as a lead client-care officer through direct contact with every client; facilitating and delivering positive resolution of client account challenges.
  • Translating client needs into marketable service enhancements; work with management to design implement and market new services and features to the Companys customers.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the culture and core values
  • Developing quantifiable value propositions to clients based on their individual needs and work to enhance and deliver meaningful data to increasingly sophisticated clients so that they can better manage their budgets and capital assets.
  • Being accountable for individual strategic sales profitable sales growth and meeting targeted monthly and annual production goals.
  • Being able to accurately assess the performance and fit of team members and be willing to make changes as necessary.
  • Mentoring training and retaining department team members and as we continues to grow help recruit sales and marketing professionals that share our commitment to customer success.
  • Evolving the marketing materials and collaterals lead marketing-related event planning advertising sponsorships etc.
  • Promoting the highest quality image of with employees customers vendors and the community.
  • Maintaining awareness in the development of sound marketing strategies monitor industry trends attend conferences and maintain focus on company growth objectives with a goal of maintaining/achieving a superior position in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree (Business or Food Science preferred)
  • 10 years of managerial experience in sales & marketing
  • Successful track record of building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business; and closing sales and satisfying customers at senior levels including Directors VPs and owners / executives
  • Proven track record of creating and executing high growth strategies in food ingredient industry.
  • Proven ability to quantify demonstrate and prove value to clients on a continual basis.
  • Customer focused mindset; experience working directly with customers with a wide range of professional sophistication. Experience developing marketing plans and materials.
  • Strategic acumen to identify and plan for the capabilities and talent needed to support the Companys aggressive growth plan.
  • Proven experience managing and motivating a team while still being focused on direct selling.
  • Proficient in RFP interpretation and response.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and instincts.
  • Excellent salesmanship communication and interpersonal skills; a consummate networker. Ability to nterface with colleagues and customers at all levels by virtue of professional competence integrity and personal style.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy enabling open transparent and effective dialog with customers and our employees.
  • Ability to lead by example mentor and coach co-workers and develop existing sales and marketing staff within their dedicated verticals.
  • Possesses drive motivation passion and an exceptional personal work ethic; ability to uphold the highest possible ethical and professional standards.
  • Highly self-motivated; able to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong fit with the Companys culture and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Must be computer proficient and have experience with MS Office and CRM software like Sales Force or Act
