Job Description
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager Food Operations on a permanent basis on our Centre Store Food team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity andis based out ofCalgary AB. Expected travel of 30% to local Co-ops in the southern Alberta zone and requirement to come into the Calgary region office approximately once per month.

What youll do:
- Collaborate with Local Co-op leaders and Senior Operations Advisors (SOAs) to develop and implement action plans focused on operational efficiencies and cost management especially in priority Co-ops.
- Provide strategic leadership for achieving sales and margin targets primarily in Food operations by guiding SOAs and Local Co-op leadership in building and executing sales action plans.
- Act as a liaison between Local Co-ops and Home Office ensuring timely execution of projects reporting and alignment with CRS objectives and programs.
- Support renovations expansions and new store developments by working with Finance Retail Advisors and Local Co-ops on feasibility studies and strategic planning.
- Partner with HR and SOAs to identify and develop future leaders within Local Co-ops coordinating succession planning and training programs.
Who youll work with:
You will lead a team of Senior Operations Advisors (SOAs) and work closely with Local Co-op GMs/CEOs and Operations / Division Managers throughout the designated zone as well as Home Office Managers. You will report into the Senior Manager Food Operations.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- Have 8 Years of relevant progressively responsible experience in retail store operations.
- Have a Bachelors Degree in Business Commerce or Marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
