Job Title: MD DNB Anaesthesia Consultant

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient health and determine anesthesia requirements.
• Administer anesthesia agents and monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage anesthesia-related emergencies effectively ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Document all anesthesia procedures and patient responses accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care.
• Supervise junior anesthetists and medical staff in administering anesthesia.
• Stay updated with the latest anesthesia practices technologies and regulations.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance programs and initiatives.
• Assist in the development of anesthesia protocols and best practices.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training activities.
• Contribute to research and clinical trials as necessary.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the department head.

Qualifications:

• MD/DNB in Anaesthesia from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical license to practice in India.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in anesthesia.
• Strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of anesthesia science.
• Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing critically ill patients.
• Proficiency in monitoring and managing anesthesia equipment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of current anesthesia guidelines and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Empathy and bedside manner in dealing with patients.
