Job Title: Clinical Assistant for Consultants

Role Responsibilities:
- Assist medical consultants with patient assessments and consultations to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vitals and documenting medical histories.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate data entry in the healthcare system.
- Coordinate with medical staff to schedule appointments and follow-up visits.
- Communicate effectively with patients and address their queries or concerns.
- Prepare medical instruments and ensure they are sterile and in proper working condition.
- Assist in the preparation of diagnostic tests as directed by consultants.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
- Support the team in handling patient flow and manage any delays.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in all communications.
- Document and report significant changes in patients conditions to the consultants.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Support billing and coding aspects related to patient services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the clinic setting.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent in a healthcare-related field.
- Certification as a Clinical Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centric approach.
- Demonstrated capability in problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

- Basic knowledge of billing procedures is an asset.
