Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Fit assemble and weld metal parts and subassemblies for equipment and machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical specifications
- Select and operate appropriate welding tools and techniques (manual and automated)
- Inspect and test welded surfaces for quality and structural integrity
- Perform repairs by welding broken parts and filling gaps
- Maintain strict compliance with workplace health and safety standards
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding or metal fabrication
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Skilled in using precision tools (calipers micrometers etc.)
- Experience in pipe fabrication is advantageous
- Welding qualification or certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting
- Reliable punctual and able to work to tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work weekends if needed

- Must pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening
- No criminal convictions
