Job Description
JobSure is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Painter on behalf of a reputable automotive business based in Auckland and Waikato Region. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and is committed to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting sanding priming and masking
- Perform dent removals panel replacements and surface preparation
- Align and refit panels in line with manufacturer specifications
- Conduct welding grinding and filling where required
- Mix and apply paints using spray guns to match original colours and finishes
- Sand between coats and apply primer topcoats and finishing touches
- Carry out touch-ups polish and waxing to achieve a flawless finish
- Apply rust-proofing treatments
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
About You:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Spray Painter (minimum 1 2 years preferred)
- Skilled in spray painting techniques and use of related equipment
- Excellent colour matching and attention to detail
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols in a workshop setting
- Full NZ Driver s Licence and reliable transport
- Strong work ethic and customer service mindset
