Carpenter

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters to join an established team working across various commercial and residential projects in the Auckland and Waikato region. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified tradespeople who take pride in quality workmanship and are looking for stable ongoing employment.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
  
• Ordering measuring and selecting appropriate timbers and materials
  
• Preparing layouts and cutting materials accurately
  
• Assembling and nailing shaped parts including formwork and framework
  
• Erecting wall and roof structures laying sub-floors and floorboards
  
• Installing door and window frames fascia panels exterior cladding and sheathing roofs
  
• Constructing wooden joints and assembling structures and fittings
  
• Potentially constructing concrete formwork or working with other materials like laminates perspex and metals
  
• Repairing and maintaining existing structures where required
  

Requirements

Our Requirements:

• New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) OR
  
• At least 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar carpentry role
  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability on-site
  
• Reliable motivated and a team player
  
• Strong understanding and commitment to workplace Health & Safety practices
  
• Able to work independently and take initiative when needed
