Job Description

Role: GBS Transformation Manager (Black Belt)
Experience: 12 Years
Salary: 40 51 LPA 25% Variable

Location: Ahmedabad (work from office)

Job Purpose


The Continuous Improvement Transformation Manager Black Belt will manage and drive continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency reducing waste and improving customer satisfaction. The individual will work closely with operational teams department heads and cross-functional teams to prioritize implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives that align with the organization s strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Management:

a. Oversee/lead continuous improvement projects across various departments.

b. Ensure alignment of initiatives with the company s business objectives strategies and priorities.

c. Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio including timelines budgets and resources.

d. Prioritize projects based on impact feasibility and strategic alignment.

2. Leadership & Team Coordination:

a. Mentor cross-functional teams responsible for continuous improvement initiatives.

b. Ensure the teams have the necessary resources support and tools to achieve project goals.

c. Foster a culture of continuous improvement innovation and operational excellence.

d. Provide guidance on Lean Six Sigma Agile and other improvement methodologies.

3. Project Execution:

a. Lead the planning design and implementation of continuous improvement projects.

b. Define clear project goals key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.

c. Identify risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies.

d. Ensure timely completion of projects managing scope and resources effectively.

4. Process Analysis & Optimization:

a. Conduct assessments of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

b. Utilize data analysis root cause analysis and process mapping techniques to identify and solve problems.

c. Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize performance reduce costs and enhance productivity.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

a. Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on the progress of improvement projects.

b. Prepare and present reports on key outcomes lessons learned and performance metrics.

6. Training & Development:

a. Support the development of a training program to build continuous improvement skills within the organization.

b. Conduct workshops and training sessions to teach Lean Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies to employees at all levels.

7. Continuous Improvement Culture:

a. Promote and encourage a mindset of continuous improvement across the organization.

b. Work with internal stakeholders to identify and implement best practices.

c. Celebrate successes and recognize individuals and teams who contribute to the improvement initiatives.



Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor s/Master s degree in business administration Operations Management Engineering or a related field. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) is Mandatory.

Experience: 12 years of experience in continuous improvement operations management or project management. Prior experience in leading process improvement projects is highly Mandatory.

Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Agile or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data identify trends and make data-driven decisions.

Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills with experience in motivating and developing teams is mandatory

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and stakeholders.

Project Management: Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.


Desirable Skills:


Familiarity with change management principles and practices.

Experience with processing automation tools and techniques.

Experience in digital transformation initiatives and using data analytics to drive decisions.



Required Skills & Experience: 9 12 Years in Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement roles Hands-on experience in shared services or BPO environments Proven record of leading cultural transformation and capability building Strong grasp of data-driven decision-making, performance tracking, and stakeholder management Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field Exceptional communication, coaching, and collaboration skills

Education

Graduation with a MBA preferred
