Job Description

This is a remote position.

Paradigm in seeking a Project Manager to support our client a global leader in the legal services space. The Associate Project Manager serves as the primary internal process monitor and assists Project Managers in tracking and expediting the processes performed by other departments on the PM s projects. The Associate Project Manager can also be the lead PM on smaller projects either at the end of delivery or close out phase or are managing a less-complex portfolio of accounts. The Associate Project Managers duties will include serving as the primary keeper of project reporting on client matters creating job instructions in the form of work requests and interacting with other departments within the company to ensure project tasks are executed efficiently.

As a Project Manager you will:

  • Timely and accurate execution of project deliverables key milestones and tasks
  • Monitor and provide status updates for client projects through the multiple departments
  • Drive overall client satisfaction through effective coordination and communication of client deliverables
  • Ensure client and project requirements are being met with the highest quality and accuracy through verifying and communicating routinely with both the client and internal partners
  • Obtain examine and prepare client data for processing
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any client issues with delivered or hosted data
  • Ensure that an accurate and up to date record is maintained about the status of all projects being worked on
  • Provide matter specific support on data management project issues client escalations and process change
  • Understand project budgets and obtain required approvals before incurring additional costs outside of project estimates
  • Prepare clear and concise call recaps and when needed weekly executive summaries for active projects
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives across the organization
  • Work with teammates to standardize and improve the customer experience
  • Participate in personal professional development across the department
  • Embody company values to team members and cross-departmentally
  • Engage team members in knowledge sharing and training to increase skills across the group
  • Prepare clear hand offs for coverage and workload sharing



Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list includes:

  • Litigation support paralegal or attorney experience in a law firm corporate legal departments with an overall experience of four to five years
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint Excel and BI is highly desirable and an added advantage
  • Demonstrated success in working on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a white glove approach to service
  • Client relationship skills which include the ability to manage client expectations proactively recognize client needs and adapt to meet client requirements consistently
  • Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to changing industry trends
  • Flexibility to work both night shift timings and occasionally on weekends is required

A Bachelor s degree in management or other relevant industry experience is preferred. Project management experience is preferred. Professional PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred. Strong technical orientation, excellent computer skills, exceptional planning and organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail are all required. Candidates with prior banking or financial service industry experience will be strongly preferred. Outstanding communication skills are required. Successful candidates will possess a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal operations groups Successfully manage multiple and shifting priorities; assist the Project Manager with delegation to team members to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope and meets quality standards.
