Job Description
Job Title: Fitter
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fitter with a strong background in fabrication work to join our client s team in Trichy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling installing and maintaining structural components and equipment as per engineering drawings and industry standards. This role demands precision mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from technical drawings blueprints and job specifications.
Cut fit and assemble metal components using hand tools and machines.
Perform layout positioning and alignment of fabricated parts.
Carry out tack welding bolting and other fastening methods as required.
Inspect fabricated parts to ensure accuracy and quality compliance.
Collaborate with welders and fabricators to complete job orders on time.
Operate grinders drills and other power tools safely.
Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at the job site.
Essential Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Fitting or relevant trade.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the fabrication industry.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of fabrication and fitting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with metalworking tools and machinery.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Understanding of safety practices in workshop and industrial environments.
