Job Position:Shop Helper
Pay Rate:$15.00/hour
Shift/Hours:MondayFriday 5:00 AM 5:00 PM; Saturday 5:00 AM 3:00 PM
Location:Broken Arrow OK 74014

Position Overview
We are hiring a dedicated Shop Helper to assist with daily shop operations in Broken Arrow. This position involves supporting welders fabricators and machinists while helping to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate Tools:Use hand and power tools including grinders to prepare and finish metal components.
Measure Materials:Accurately measure materials using a tape measure for precise cuts and assembly.
Equipment Operation:Operate overhead cranes safely to move heavy materials and equipment.
Shop Support:Assist welders fabricators and machinists with daily tasks.
Cleanliness:Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
Safety Compliance:Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Maintenance & Loading:Perform basic maintenance on tools and load/unload materials and products.
Skills & Experience Requirements
Experience with grinders tape measures and overhead cranes is required.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or shop drawings is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
