Pay: $18/hour DOE
Shift: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:45 PM (hours may vary depending on workload)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team in Tulsa. This position plays a critical role in preparing and coating metal surfaces to meet high-quality standards. Candidates with powder coating experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
• Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth
• Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure proper preparation before coating
• Cure coated items in industrial ovens per specifications
• Maintain and clean equipment spray booths and work areas
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
• Read and interpret work orders blueprints and technical drawings
• Monitor coating thickness and finish quality to ensure compliance
• Load and unload parts from racks and ovens
• Perform routine maintenance on sandblasting and powder coating equipment

Requirements

• 12 years minimum of sandblasting and/or powder coating experience
• Familiarity with surface preparation techniques and coating materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Must be physically capable of stooping kneeling bending pushing and pulling
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments
• Must be able to stand on feet for 810 hours per day
