Job Description

Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their team in Omaha!


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-level project design
  • Review project documents and design quality for complex projects
  • Provide technical guidance to team members to solve complex problems
  • Perform QA/QC and ensure completed designs meet quality standards
  • Scope and complexity research
  • Lead staff on design approach
  • Develop standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities
  • Mentor/train junior staff


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in civil engineering
  • Master s degree or in pursuit preferred
  • 6 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
  • Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA LEAP Bridge Expertise Lpile SPColumn or MDX)
  • Expertise with DOT bridge projects
  • Knowledge of MicroStation software



Salary is commensurate with experience.
