PSI Myanmar seeks Field Supervisors (Malaria) for Katha and Kyunhla who will play the critical field-based role in strengthening malaria prevention control and elimination efforts through provider behavior change and ongoing performance monitoring. The position ensures the effective implementation of PSIs malaria activities by supervising community health providers promoting quality service delivery and supporting data-driven program improvements.
Your Contribution
- Develop and maintain the operational work plans in coordination with supervisees supervisors and related stakeholders.
- Coordinate with township-level health officers malaria focal persons and local authorities.
- Monitor performance supervise and support provide technical guidance to supervisees and community providers.
- Assist in planning and facilitating capacity-building activities in collaboration with the operations and program teams.
- Supervise the stock management at the provider level including stock distribution usage monitoring and timely reporting to prevent stock-outs and minimize wastage.
- Support to the community providers network expansion by conducting area mapping engaging local authorities assisting with provider selection and facilitating initial orientation.
- Track progress against monthly and quarterly program targets identify field-level challenges and propose timely adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Monitoring & Information Systems (MIS) team to review provider data ensure reporting accuracy and follow up on data discrepancies.
- Strengthen coordination with local health systems to support malaria referral networks case investigations and elimination efforts in the assigned areas.
- Submit timely complete and accurate monthly activity reports to the Operations Officer Operations Manager and MIS team incorporating field insights and updates.
Qualifications :
- A bachelors degree is required and any health-related degree is an asset.
- Minimum three years in relevant experience preferably in community health operations and/or behavior change programming.
- Possesses strong communication and advocacy skill and able to work in multicultural environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with health reporting systems.
- Able to travel extensively within assigned areas and hold a valid motorcycle driving license.
- Able to work independently and/or collaboratively under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Should be organized systematic and dynamic reliable proactive and must interact well with others.
