Job Description

PSI Myanmar seeks the Community Mobilizer (Malaria) who will play the critical field-based focal point within the assigned township. He/she will be responsible for the effective supervision and performance monitoring of Integrated Community Malaria Volunteers (ICMVs) to ensure the delivery of quality community-based malaria services and contribute directly to malaria control and elimination targets. 

Your Contribution

  • Conduct regular field visits to ICMV villages to supervise service delivery distribute health commodities and IEC materials collect reports and provide technical support.
  • Ensure timely and verified payment of provider service allowances and client support incentives.
  • Perform remote monitoring if required to maintain communication with supervisors and ICMVs.
  • Monitor stock levels storage conditions and consumption of health products.
  • Support ICMVs in implementing health education outreach and malaria elimination activities according to PSI protocols.
  • Coordinate with township health officers and relevant stakeholders for project activities.
  • Disseminate updated technical guidance verify report accuracy and support timely reporting.
  • Assist with new ICMV recruitment through area mapping facility audits and provider onboarding.
  • Support the Field Supervisor in conducting refresher training supervision visits and meetings.

Qualifications :

  • A bachelors degree is required
  • Experiences in community-based health or development programs are preferred.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and advocacy skills with the ability to work effectively with communities and stakeholders.
  • Able to travel to remote and hard-to-reach areas and residency in the project township is highly desirable.
  • Able to drive a motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle driving license
  • Should be organized systematic dynamic reliable and proactive and must interact well with others.
