BryceTech is currently looking for a Bio-Media Analyst IV. This position will be supporting Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense Medical. This role will provide communications marketing and media support to Government project leads for CONUS and OCONUS missions to include travel when needed.
The Person in this role will:
- Possess an ability to write review and staff high-level staff action papers studies policies and acquisition documents.
- Possess an ability to independently manage synchronize and track multiple complex and cross-functional actions
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing among a variety of audiences.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software with specific experience in effective use of Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word.
- Assist with leading the team with the planning development/refinement initiation and execution of new requirements projects procedures and guidelines.
- Possess expert knowledge and training in communications and marketing and experience developing and executing integrated communication public awareness and outreach plans for bioengineering and medical programs to include multi-faceted media campaigns. The contractors expert knowledge shall include the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with media representatives public affairs personnel of other agencies the bio-defense community regulatory and scientific communities and special interest groups.
- Maintain awareness of program execution and milestones as well as their strategic impacts.
- Work at a senior level to stimulate customer alliances for project support maintaining personal and organizational interactions to enhance stakeholder relations and actively promote rapport with customers.
- Draft review staff file and update a variety of documents to include press releases articles memorandums information and issue papers briefings executive summaries e-mails and meeting minutes.
- Lead the coordination of both internal and external conferences meetings and reviews for relevant stakeholders ensuring that locations phone and video teleconference lines are properly booked for use; scheduling speakers; developing and providing meeting materials (e.g. day-to-day schedules agendas presentations and displays etc.); and tracking action items as needed. Support each event in person and/or via teleconference video teleconference and web conference. In addition for each meeting conducted the contractor shall develop meeting minutes and/or an executive summary.
- Provide input to support annual monthly and weekly recurring reports as needed.
- Provide and lead the communication efforts and updates at regular senior staff meetings.
- Consistently and proactively communicate issues concerns and information.
- Assist to develop and update top-level briefings for public presentation to be utilized at various conferences and events.
- Lead the tracking of the status of action items meeting minutes and monthly reports.
- Assist in determining appropriate assignments; setting priorities monitoring progress and reporting on progress to meet established milestones and deadlines.
- Obtain and maintain all information regarding the projects and events he/she is responsible for managing and provide updates on issues upcoming meetings briefings and taskers related to assigned projects both orally and in written form.
- Assist in the review preparation and submission of responses to formal taskers related to communication.
- Monitor/protect acquisition-sensitive materiel.
- Remain abreast of news media reports and evaluate emerging trends in bioengineering pharmaceutical development and bio-surveillance.
- Manage public affairs issues responses and concerns as well as the perceptions of stakeholders.
- Organize and confer with internal and external stakeholders to determine subject material to be developed for display publication or distribution.
- Lead and assist in the research organization writing editing and coordination for approval of technical documents intended for public release.
- Organize and write descriptive copy according to standards regarding order clarity conciseness style and terminology.
- Ensure all messages are aligned with and in support of the mission and vision of both the program and multiple national bio-defense military strategies and are scientifically accurate.
- Monitor report and resolve technical issues (e.g. broken links slow loads and missing graphics) with the JPEO-CBRND web pages and social media accounts to the JPEO-CBRND Communications Affairs Network (CAN
- Respond to or redirect all inquiries to appropriate points of contact within 48 hours of contact.
- Ensure the posting of timely accurate and publicly-cleared information.
- Prepare maintain update and ensure accuracy of public affairs materials.
- Schedule and reserve conference rooms/facilities for meetings and presentations. In addition the contractor shall schedule and make available any audio/visual equipment required.
- Provide and lead the strategic communications outreach to include exhibit and graphics support at various DoD and JPM CBRN Medical related conferences exhibits in-house events and VIP visits from generals/flag officers and senior civilian leaders.
- Lead with assisting in the planning and execution of ceremonies and All-Hands meetings. As part of this task the contractor shall assist in coordinating the development of invitations scripts programs event floor plans Letters of Intent (LOIs) event catering and military/civilian protocol; provide periodic reviews of the plans; and implement changes as requested by the Government Lead prior to the actual event.
- Lead in participating in working groups for JPEO-CBRND Knowledge Center matters and assist team members to gain access to the Knowledge Center.
- Maintain the JPM CBRN Medicals communications Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) files.
- Author articles and facilitate the collection of program news for the quarterly Stakeholders Newsletter working with Senior Leadership to ensure the mission and vision of the newsletter is achieved. In addition the contractor shall maintain an e-mail roster for all Stakeholders Newsletter recipients.
- Submit and track draft documents into the EDMS workflow and the Document Staffing System for Staff Directors JPM CBRN Medical Front Office and JPEO-CBRND Headquarters approval.
- Assign track and respond to tasks generated by the JPEO1CBRND SASI system ensuring that all tasks are submitted in a timely manner.
- Prepare situation reports executive summaries and briefings for Government review.
- Prepare travel requests and orders; maintain a calendar; and prepare and submit documentation (e.g. correspondence invitations etc.) for JPMCBRN Medical events.
- Update and manage the JPM CBRN Medical mailing database and stakeholder engagement tool.
- Work with minimal supervision and may direct the activities of others.
- Support the various JPM CBRN Medical office locations as required.
- Actively participate in the Multi-Media Team and as a member of the JPEO Strategic Communications Team
Qualifications :
The experience and certification requirements listed below are essential to successfully perform the tasks above:
- Possess working knowledge of the DoD requirements development process (i.e. update JCIDS) the DoD 5000 systems acquisition process and organizational acquisition policies. In addition the contractor shall be capable of applying that knowledge to support the program offices data input review and participation in the requirements development process including the development and update of information concerning requirements traceability to acquisition processes and documentation.
