Under limited supervision of the Dairy Manager Program Coordinator II is responsible for the operation of all fluid processing and ice cream manufacturing including operation of a regulated milk testing laboratory.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to inventory processing record keeping storage and shipment of all production including surplus raw milk products.
Also responsible for compliance with all State (SCDHEC) and Federal (FDA & USDA) Regulatory Guidelines.
Position requires extended work hours during peak seasons and/or during emergencies.
The Agriculture Division Director has deemed position essential and must be manned during any and all state or agency emergencies.
Must successfully complete four (4) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant program experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
A high school diploma and food/beverage manufacturing experience.
A bachelors degree in a program relevant field may be substituted for manufacturing experience.
Must attend SCDC basic training.
Hours may fluctuate with production needs.
