JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $20.00 per hour
1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (hours may vary depending on operations)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order Management:
- Acts on order releases and exception messages from the company system
- Processes XDA releases and updates material production requirements in MES
- Interfaces with inventory control for scheduling and availability
- Responds to termination and cancellation requests from Sales
- Production Planning and Management:
- Assists in planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations
- Analyzes sales order releases in terms of capacity planning and material requirements
- Orders floor stock with shelf-life for production
- Reviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process
- Releases production orders for materials and purchases
- Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with manufacturing personnel purchasing and supervisors for material status and production planning
- Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments
- Manages special projects as designated by the Plant Manager
- Uphold cleanliness and safety in the workplace
- Serve as a positive role model consistent with Cornerstone Building Brands Mission Vision and Core Values
- Provide cost saving suggestions and ideas to improve production and eliminate waste
- Must be willing/able to work overtime
- Willing to learn and take on additional tasks as assigned
- Team player and keeping safety first
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required; associate degree preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a production planning/materials controls function or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some knowledge of manufacturing environment preferred
- Must have basic Microsoft knowledge
- Lifting Capacity ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Mobility prolonged periods of time on feet standing bending etc.
- Exposure moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles and non-climate-controlled environment
- Noise Tolerance high noise levels

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours 10 hours and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
