Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Salesforce testing and automation using Playwright. As part of a dynamic QA team you will contribute to delivering high-quality software through the development and execution of automated test cases across web and Salesforce platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and maintain robust scalable and efficient automated test scripts using Playwright.

  • Perform end-to-end functional and regression testing of Salesforce applications including Lightning components and integrations.

  • Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

  • Identify document and track defects; assist developers in root cause analysis.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab).

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

  • Ensure test automation frameworks are scalable reusable and aligned with industry standards.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related technical field.

  • 4 to 9 years of professional experience in QA and Test Automation.

  • Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for web automation (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred).

  • In-depth experience testing Salesforce CRM applications with knowledge of Lightning UI Visualforce pages Apex triggers/classes and standard/custom workflows.

  • Sound understanding of test case design test execution and bug reporting.

  • Familiarity with source control and CI tools (e.g. Git GitLab Jenkins).

  • Experience in working within Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of other automation tools (Selenium Cypress etc.).

  • ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
