Job Description

Vita Inclinata is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing facility team in Denver CO. As the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes driving production efficiency increasing production capacity and capability managing the production workforce managing and enforcing facility safety programs and ensuring the highest quality outputs are delivered and standards are maintained.


The Production Supervisor leads the direct labor employees of our production team enacting and supporting safety quality cost reduction process improvements and production goals. Provides work direction training and coaching to the direct labor employees within the Production department and other duties as assigned. This position is responsible for working with other leaders in the business to meet Production objectives and delivery deadlines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Oversee the production process for Vitas VLN and VRS production lines from Work Order Receipt through execution and final delivery.
  • Manage the direct labor production staff including onboarding training timekeeping mentoring and providing performance evaluations.
  • Partner with Master Production Scheduler to align scheduling and resource allocation to ensure the efficient use of time and materials.
  • Partner with Director of Production to execute timely and effective Labor Planning to ensure sufficient effective direct labor capacity is available to meet Production needs.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate production goals updates and issues to relevant stakeholders including direct labor employees the overall Production team other departments and senior management.
  • Address production-related issues troubleshoot problems and implement solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises all levels of Assembly Technicians in the Production department. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing selecting hiring and training employees planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience

  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; but 3 to 5 years relevant experience considered.
  • Demonstrated experience with hands-on production work involving tasks like operating equipment assembling products and handling materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate production staff to meet goals.
  • Experience driving high-quality outputs by ensuring products meet established standards and specifications.
  • Process improvement: Identifying and implementing ways to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Experience with safety compliance and ensuring production staff adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

Skills

  • Operating machinery and equipment for manufacturing or assembly processes.
  • Supervising production processes and ensuring staff are adhering to established procedures for accuracy.
  • Maintaining safety standards by ensuring staff follow protocols for a safe work environment.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders to meet production goals.
  • Quality Control: Monitoring production and conducting checks to ensure the Production teams work products meet our quality standards.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting: Identifying and addressing production issues in a timely safe and effective way.
  • Maintenance: Performing basic or preventative maintenance on equipment.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook

Compensation

In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the compensation for this role is $70000 - $85000 per year; however Vita Inclinata Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
