Kindle Unlimited brings the advantages of subscriptions to the world of digital reading. With millions of Kindle books and thousands of audiobooks magazines and comics available to subscribers Kindle Unlimited has something to offer for almost every reader.
We are seeking a seasoned product leader to join our Kindle Unlimited Worldwide Selection team. In this role you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives to increase customer and publisher participation in our program globally. You will identify and operationalize new selection growth opportunities and work to unlock data-driven insights to help us increase the appeal of Kindle Unlimited to potential customers publishers and authors. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders across the globe.
Our ideal candidate will be highly effective at developing and communicating data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership constructing simple approaches to operationalize new strategies and inspiring stakeholders to align to and adopt changes.
The successful candidate will be very comfortable with SQL and data analysis and will have the ability to influence leadership using data-driven insights.
Key job responsibilities
- Identifying customer and publisher selection opportunities and translating these opportunities into long-term vision and strategy.
- Owning a product roadmap
- Managing prioritization tradeoffs and cross-functional communication including presenting to senior leadership.
- Partnering with science finance tech marketing and vendor management teams to translate ideas into great customer or publisher experiences.
- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
