JOB TITLE

Visiting Lecturer

The School Psychology Program at Texas Womans University invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer position in our APA-accredited PhD and NASP-accredited Specialist (SSP) training programs housed in the School of Social Work Psychology and Philosophy.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Visiting Lecturer position is a temporary faculty position dedicated to supporting the programs preparation for reaccreditation processes. The person in this role will provide accreditation support and will work closely with program faculty and administrators to organize compile and review required documentation manage timelines coordinate meetings and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. The position does not include any teaching responsibilities and is focused solely on accreditation support for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The School of Social Work Psychology and Philosophy at TWU is housed within the College of Arts and Sciences which has 35% of TWUs graduate and undergraduate population of over 15000. The Division of Psychology and Philosophy has 16 full-time faculty over 400 undergraduate psychology majors and five graduate programs: Masters in counseling psychology Masters in Psychological Science Specialist in School Psychology (NASP-accredited) Doctoral Counseling Psychology (APA-accredited) and Doctoral School Psychology (APA-accredited NASP-approved).
