Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and decisive Governance Lead to join our organization in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As the Governance Lead you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our corporate governance framework ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our organizational effectiveness.

  • Develop implement and maintain comprehensive governance policies and procedures aligned with international best practices and local regulations
  • Lead the design and execution of risk management strategies to identify assess and mitigate potential risks across the organization
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for governance and compliance
  • Oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws regulations and industry standards
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of governance processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the Board of Directors and executive management on governance-related matters
  • Lead and mentor a team of governance and compliance professionals fostering a culture of integrity and accountability
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance governance awareness and skills across the organization
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on governance performance and risk management to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of emerging governance trends regulatory changes and best practices in the Middle East region and globally

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Law or a related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in governance risk management or related fields with a proven track record of leadership in a corporate environment
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance principles risk management frameworks and compliance best practices
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing governance policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Professional certifications such as Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) are highly advantageous
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
