At HUB International we believe insurance is more than a policy its peace of mind. We help clients tackle complex risks and protect whats most important. Now our growing Complex Risks team in Toronto is looking for a Captive Insurance & Analytics Associate to take that vision further.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves financial analysis has a curious mind for alternative risk solutions and wants to help design strategies that genuinely make an impact.
What Youll Do
As part of a collaborative client service team youll:
- Analyze risk tolerance build financial models and handle premium allocation cash flow oversight and tax calculations for captive insurance programs.
- Support underwriting policy wording reinsurance agreements and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to RFPs feasibility studies and new client proposals. Stay on top of trends in captive insurance and help develop innovative solutions for HUB clients.
- Work closely with auditors actuaries asset managers and other partners.
- Lead or support client training sessions write thought leadership pieces and champion best practices in alternative risk transfer.
What Youll Need for Success
- Post-secondary education (finance risk management or accounting preferred)
- 3 years in complex commercial insurance risk management or a related financial field
- RIBO license (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced Excel and solid MS Office skills
- Experience with RFPs and analytics modeling
- Strong communicator and presenter youre comfortable explaining complex ideas clearly
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset with top-notch client service skills
- Ability to travel within Canada (approx. 20%)
