If you are a configuration management professional looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! As a Configuration Management Manager based in our Boulder CO location you will lead and run the Boulder Configuration Management team supporting our Micro Motion products. You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving prowess to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Under general direction you will lead the Configuration Management team in Boulder and coordinate with the global Configuration Management teams in Mexico Romania India and China
  • Lead and delegate implementation of Micro Motions vision and strategic plan as related to Configuration Management and its principles
  • Define project priorities and resources and ensure timely completion and quality of results
  • Provide leadership for Configuration Management practices processes and strategies worldwide
  • Propose and champion global initiatives that affect the direction/vision of Configuration Management at Micro Motion
  • Develop direct reports and other team members in personal development systems thinking process improvements and leadership skills
  • Develop maintain and report key performance metrics for Configuration Management

Who You Are:

You are a configuration management professional skilled at aligning the interests of multiple diverse stakeholders. By using each team members unique background to achieve team goals you excel at building effective teams. With exceptional collaboration skills you facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. You are successful at directing work delegating work in a way that empowers ownership. You persist in the face of challenges and setbacks effectively getting results. Adept at managing complexity you readily distinguish between whats relevant and whats unimportant to make sense of complex situations.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in a related area required
  • Five (5) years related experience
  • Prior management and supervisory experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Technical training and/or leadership training preferred
  • CM II-C or CM II-P Certificate (Institute of Configuration Management) highly desirable
  • Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary global teams

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $107400- 153400 annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
