About Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Dental Consultant (Contractor) join our team on a contract basis. The consultant will provide expert clinical advice strategic input into oral health service delivery and support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Lead the dental accreditation process to achieve accreditation and implement improvement measures as required.
- Dental software implementation and data migration and storage.
- Dental X-ray software implementation and effective data storage.
- Integration of dental software with current medical software and arrange and monitor the appointment book.
- Setup dental equipment consumables and stock ordering provider and constant supply system.
- Dental equipment Sterilization solution
- Establish arrangement with denture providers for GWAHS.
- Development of Dental policies procedures and guidelines.).
- Provide specialist clinical and operational advice on dental service delivery.
- Conduct clinical audits and assist with quality assurance and continuous improvement programs.
- Support the development and review of clinical policies procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure best practice oral health outcomes.
- Provide mentorship or supervision where appropriate to dental staff or program leads.
- Contribute to oral health education community engagement and service planning initiatives.
Experience Qualifications & Licenses:
- Qualified and registered Dentist with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general or specialised dentistry.
- Demonstrated expertise in oral health strategy service planning or consultancy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with strong analytical and report-writing capabilities.
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
