About the Organisation
Karralika Programs Inc has been supporting communities throughout the ACT and NSW for 45 years providing quality support and intervention services for families and individuals impacted by alcohol tobacco and other drugs.The Child and Family Practitioner primarily provides therapeutic assessment brief and therapeutic interventions care planning and coordination to support each childs needs and to amplify their voices and involvement in decisions using age-appropriate approaches. For our First Nations children and families the Practitioner will work closely with our Cultural Support and Liaison Officer and support children and families to participate in cultural activities and services.In addition to one-on-one work the Practitioner may work with families and also facilitate and co-facilitate groups as well as working collaboratively with a range of health providers child protection (where relevant) childcare/school and child and family services to meet the needs of the child and family.

What Youll Bring to the Team
You will have experience and qualifications in a field working with children and families therapeutically.
